The Antelope Valley Hospital Comprehensive Wound Healing Center, located on the AV hospital campus, is a new, state-of-the-art facility that uses cutting-edge technology and advanced modalities to treat patients with nonhealing wounds. The Comprehensive Wound Healing Center treats wounds related to diabetes, vascular conditions, recent surgery, traumatic injuries, rare diseases and other conditions that can cause complex nonhealing wounds. The Center is staffed exclusively with experienced wound care physicians, ensuring patients receive the best care possible.
The director of the AV Hospital Comprehensive Wound Healing Center, Gary Boghossian, D.P.M., specializes in complex, reconstructive procedures of the foot and ankle. Dr. Boghossian is a graduate of the Des Moines University of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and has over 11 years of extensive training and knowledge in wound care, as well as foot and ankle medicine and surgery. He treats an average of 3,000 wound visits per year. In addition to his busy foot and ankle practice, Dr. Boghossian treats and addresses biomechanical deformities both nonsurgically and surgically.
