Dr. Gary Boghossian is a talented Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) who is devoted to the complex study, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions focused on the foot, ankle, and related parts of the leg. He is also a highly respected and skillful surgeon who prides himself on conservative care.
He has extensive experience in limb salvage (avoiding amputation whenever possible) and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. His successful treatments of the foot and ankle include:

Dr. Gary Boghossian was a combat medic and operating room technician for the United States Army. He is a veteran of Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Currently he is the Founder and Medical Director of the new Comprehensive Wound Healing Center at Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, California, and Director of Podiatric Medicine at High Desert Medical Group in Lancaster, California.
He is also on staff at Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, California; Palmdale Regional Medical Center in Palmdale, California; Antelope Valley Outpatient Surgical Center in Lancaster, California; and Mountain View Surgical Center in Encino, California.
Dr. Boghossian graduated from medical school at Des Moines College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed his residency at Sherman Oaks Hospital and Health Center in Sherman Oaks, California.
He has given many lectures in his field of expertise. Some of his topics are: Diabetic Ulcers, Medicine Surgery Management; wound V.A.C.; Apligraf Indications, Clinical Applications and Technique; Medical Surgical Management and Ankle Fractures; Diabetic Neuropathy and Complications; Heel Pain, Etiologies and Management; Dermgraft Indications and Clinical Techniques for Diabetic Foot Wounds; and Ankle Injuries in Young Athletes.
Born in Lebanon and raised in the Los Angeles area, Dr. Boghossian is fluent in English and Armenian, which he also reads and writes. Did you know that Dr. Boghossian is the volunteer “Medical Officer” for the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Antelope Valley Search & Rescue Team?
When he isn’t with patients or doing volunteer work, Dr. Boghossian enjoys spending time with his family, restoring classic cars, and collecting antiques.
